MAURY HENRY STARLING

ROSE HILL -- Maury Henry Starling, 74, died Thursday. He was born to Marlus Gainey Starling and Jannie Elizabeth Ward Starling.
The funeral will be held at Rose Hill Baptist Church at 3 p.m. today. Burial will follow at Rockfish Cemetery.
He was a farmer and retired postal employee and graciously helped everyone who asked. He was a lifelong member of Rose Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ida; sons, Steve and wife, Nancy, of Franklinton, Ralph and wife, Jane, of Denver; daughter, Jennifer and husband, Marc, of Charlotte; grandchildren, Zachary Starling, Lindsey and Morgan Starling, Henry and Jack Ryan; sisters, Sarah Parker and Ella Mae Starling; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was at Community Funeral Home in Rose Hill on Saturday from 7 to 9 in the evening.
