Margaret Lucille Goff Sauls, 91, entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday to meet Jesus, the one she served so faithfully.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Turlington officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

Margaret was born in Greene County on Oct. 29, 1918, to the late Robert Branch Goff and Maude McKeel Goff. She was married to the late Edward E. Sauls. Margaret was a member of Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Jeanette S. Wilson of Newbery, S.C.; her sons, Edward O. Sauls and wife, Mary Nell, of Bristol, Wis., and Billy D. Sauls and wife, Donnie Ann, of Goldsboro; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 243 Shine Road, Snow Hill, NC 28580.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Kevin Sauls; her sisters, Mildred Lancaster and Eloise Jernigan; and her brothers, Hoover Goff, Durwood Goff and R.B. Goff.

The family will receive friends today from 3 until 5 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, Billy Sauls, 127 Creek Run Drive, Goldsboro.
