FREMONT -- James Needham Evans died Wednesday at Wilson Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Mr. Evans was born in Wilson County Sept. 16, 1943, to the late Needham and Christine Stott Evans.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Evans; two sons; a stepson; and a stepdaughter.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
