LaGRANGE -- Herman L. Waters, 79,died Thursday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Matthews FWB Church with Elder Issac Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at St. Matthews Cemetery.
Mr. Waters is survived by his wife, Swannie Waters of the home; one son, Herman Waters Jr., of Kinston; three daughters, Anna J. Waters-Jerkins of Grifton, Jean Waters-Siler of Winterville, and Sandra Waters-Sessoms of Raleigh; five brothers, Thomas Waters of Goldsboro, Carl Davis Jr. of LaGrange, McKinley Wooten of Kinston, Henry Wooten and Edward Wooten, both of New York; two sisters, Dora Smith of New York and Annie Philpod of Washington, D.C.
A viewing will be held from 2 until 8 p.m. Monday at LaGrange Funeral Services.
