TOMMY EDWARDS

Thomas "Tommy" Edwards, 39, of Goldsboro, passed away Thursday at his home. He was the son of the late Thomas William Edwards, and the husband of Sharon Mozingo Edwards. Tommy was a veteran of the North Carolina Army National Guard and was injured in service in Iraq.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk funeral home with the Rev. Mark Thomas officiating.
In addition to his wife Mr. Edwards is survived by his mother and stepfather, Brenda and Brad Crumpler of Goldsboro; children, T.J. Edwards, Billy Edwards, and Jessica Hoffman all of Goldsboro, and Justin Hoffman of Kinston; brothers, Christopher Edwards of Harrisburg, Ark., and Eric Crumpler and wife, Kristi, of Goldsboro; and a sister, Sheri Crowson of Mount Olive.
The family will be receiving friends following the service at Shumate-Faulk funeral home, and at other times at the Edwards family home.
