FREMONT -- James William Haire, 73, died Friday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A private service will be held for the family.
Mr. Haire was born in Johnston County to the late James Bright Haire and Blannie Smith Haire.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda W. Haire; and five children.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
