Sammie Rowe Lamb, 79, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service for Sammie will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian church of Goldsboro, with the Rev. Drew Clark officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Lamb Jr.; two daughters Terry and Suzanne; a son-in-law, Kenneth R. Monroe; and four grandchildren, Ramsey L. Monroe, Mitchell K. Monroe, Mark R. Dougherty, and Sammie Diane Dougherty; and a sister, Hope Watson.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 1101 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, NC 27530
