SNOW HILL -- Mrs. Cindy Head Coley, 51, passed away Thursday evening following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. today at Fort Run PFWB Church with the Rev. Larry Turlington officiating. Committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Radford Family Cemetery located on Mewborn Church Road, Snow Hill.
Cindy was born the daughter of Billy and Margaret Sutton Head. Following graduation from Greene Central High School, she earned her certification as a Pharmacy Technician and worked with Wayne Pharmacy in Goldsboro for 28 years. Cindy was a member of Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Johnny G. Coley of the home; parents, Billy and Margaret Head of LaGrange; sisters, Angie H. Herring and husband, Gary, of Snow Hill and Melody H. Raynor of Snow Hill; special cousin, Angel Webb and husband, Jamie, of Snow Hill; and nieces and nephews, Blake Herring, Austin Herring, Tyler Herring, Makayla Raynor, T.J. Raynor and Justin Allen Head. Cindy was preceded in death by her only brother, Dennis H. Head.
The family will receive friends today following the service, and other times at the home of her parents, 2062 Oakdale Road, LaGrange. Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made to Fort Run PFWB Church, c/o Rev. Turlington, 243 Shine Road, Snow Hill, NC 28580.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the kindness and concern shown by Mr. Kenneth Wiggins and the staff of Wayne Pharmacy and Community Hospice.
