DONALD MELVIN CLARK

Donald Melvin Clark, 81, of Goldsboro, passed away Saturday at his home.

A service of remembrance and burial will take place later this week in Prattsburg, N.Y.

Mr. Clark served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after 22 years of service with the rank of Master Sergeant. Donald was born March 24, 1928, in Bath, N.Y., to the late Melvin Clark and Lottie Bull Clark. Donald was a member of the Moose Lodge, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf.

Donald is survived by his wife of 41 years, Stella D. Clark; three children, Shelley Clark of Fort Worth, Texas, Michael Clark of Fort Worth, Texas, Mark Clark and wife, Lynne, of Goldsboro; brother, Douglas Clark of Prattsburg, N.Y; best friend and grandson, Markie Clark; five additional grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his oldest son, Stephan Andrew Clark.

The family will receive friends today from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
