SNOW HILL -- Phyllis Ann Johnson, 53, passed away Saturday at her residence.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Snow Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Trip McKinnon officiating.
She was born in Wilson County Aug. 13, 1956, the daughter of Harry Brown "Bud" Johnson and Beatrice Marie McKeel Johnson.
A CNA, she had formerly worked with the Brian Center in Goldsboro and more recently with independent group homes.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Marie Johnson and her companion, Jeff Carmon, of LaGrange; a sister, Pamela Marie Johnson of Ormondsville; brothers, Chris Johnson and Greg Johnson both of Snow Hill; and grandchildren, R.J., Raven, Ryan and Austin.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Mitchell Johnson.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service Thursday at the cemetery and other times at the residence of her Rebecca Johnson, 23 Emily Place in LaGrange.
Arrangements are by Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service.
