DEACON YANCY MUSGRAVE JR.

Deacon Yancy Musgrave Jr., 63, passed away Sunday at Duke University Hospital. He was born to the late Yancy Musgrave Sr. and Allena Simmons Musgrave Lee. He served as a deacon of St. James Church of Christ Disciples of Christ in Mount Olive, and was a proud Vietnam Veteran.

An inspirational wake will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, at St. James Church, Mount Olive. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m., Saturday at Deeper Life Church, Goldsboro. Dr. Lloyd Butler will be officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife, Linda McKinney Musgrave, of the home; three sons, Michael McKinney (Paula) of Greensboro, Yancy "Chuck" Musgrave III of Talladega, Ala., Maurice Musgrave (Sherry), of Greensboro; two daughters, Paulita "Angel" Musgrave and Soisette "Renee" Bell, both of Mount Olive; seven grandchildren, Keith Bowser Jr. and Trucell Bell Jr. of the home, Julian Musgrave of Cheraw, S.C., Ensura Flowers of Raleigh, Sherylle Musgrave of Dudley, Jordyn McKinney of Greensboro and Reginald Means III of Greensboro; one brother, Jasper Musgrave (Judy) of Fayetteville; five sisters, Angelene Bowden of Dudley, Maryann Royall(Adolph) of Clinton, Maryland, Ida "Prettlo" Musgrave of Asbury Park, NJ., Barbara Jean King of Mount Olive and Corine Parks (James) of Salisbury; two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
