LAGRANGE -- William "Uncle Bill" Joseph Malone, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Jesus' birthday, Christmas Day at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Services to celebrate the life of Uncle Bill will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
He leaves to cherish his memory an adopted daughter, Ann Waters and husband, Dennis, of LaGrange; his special friend, John Hoey "John the Baptist" of Kinston; his much-loved prayer partner, Edna Simmons "Brown Sugar" of Goldsboro; his church friends at St. Mary's, Garris Chapel and the Neuse Baptist Association; and his beloved cat, Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Mary School Scholarship Fund, 1601 Edgerton St., Goldsboro, NC 27530 in memory of Uncle Bill.
