MOUNT OLIVE -- Marjorie Alice Cherry, 73, of Summerlin's Crossroads community, died Christmas night at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive today at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Mickey Whitfield officiating. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be immediately following the service.
She was the daughter of the late David Lemuel and Delphia Ervin Cherry. She was a retired x-ray technologist and a member of Rooty Branch Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cherry is survived by three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Gerald and Naomi Cherry of Manteca, Calif., Ronald and Brenda Cherry of Goldsboro, Roger and Linda Cherry of Warsaw, and Mary Cherry of Santa Maria, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, David E. Cherry, Morris A. Cherry, and Wayne L. Cherry.
