J. WOODROW OUTLAW

MOUNT OLIVE -- Joseph Woodrow Outlaw, 86, of 922 White Flash Road, died Friday at Duplin General Hospital.

His funeral will be held at 7 p.m. today at Tyndall Funeral Home with the Revs. Paul Rose and Willard Hardison officiating.

Visitation will immediately follow the service. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park at Pink Hill.

Mr. Outlaw was a retired farmer. He was a charter member of Pleasant Grove Fire Department and was its first chief.

HIs parents, Jeff D. and Ethel Kornegay Outlaw, and his brother, J. D. Outlaw, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Faye Lanier Outlaw of the home; his mother-in-law, Mary H. Lanier of Mount Olive; a brother-in-law, Glen Lanier and his wife, Ginger, of LaGrange; a niece, Mary Frances McArthur and her husband, Stephen, of Albertson; two nieces, Debbie and Susan of Texas; and several cousins.

Family and friends are being received at the home of Mrs. Mary Lanier, 918 White Flash Road, Mount Olive.
