Gavin also known as Tunka and Lil 'G' was the precious baby boy of Jameka Tawanna McClarin and Andre Dewayne Body.
His memories will live on through his brothers, J'Mari and Zimere McClarin of the home; his grandparents, Dorothy Williams of Goldsboro and Jerry McClarin of Porthsmouth, Va., Ronald and Beverly Body of Parkstown; uncles, Kevin Summer (LaTonya) Parkstown, Jeremy McClarin of Norfolk, Va., and Kenneth McIntyre of Virginia Beach, Va.; aunts, Kimberly Body of Winston-Salem, Tonya Strong (Kareem Artis) of Goldsboro and LaShontae McIntyre of Virginia Beach, Va.; great-grandmothers Virginia McClarin Hudson (Willie) of Goldsboro and Evelyn Body of Goldsboro; special godparents Tameka and Robert Dixion of Mount Olive; and special friends Tommy Jones and Nee Nee McIntyre; three cousins Keosha Summers, Aaliyah Chambers and Kennedy McIntyre; and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery.
