Annie Armstrong Woodard, 58, of 805 Isler St., succumbed to silent chambers of death Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Her life and service to God and mankind will be celebrated Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Woodard's silver sapphire stainless steel casket will be placed in an authentic 1892 Cunningham horse drawn hearse for the final journey to Old Mill Cemetery.
She leaves to mourn and cherish sacred memories her beloved husband, William Earl Woodard, of the home; a son, Keita Woodard of the home; her mother Annie P. Vaughn of Goldsboro; her step-children William Earl Woodard, Priscilla Ward, Starshella Ward and Michelle Roberts all of Long Island, N.Y.; one granddaughter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation Monday from 2 until 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
