LAGRANGE -- Connie Wynn Coker, 59, passed away Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.

A service to celebrate Connie's life will be tonight at 7 at Goldsboro Worship Center, with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.

Connie was born in Wayne County Sept. 27, 1950, to William Grey Wynn and Cleo Carraway Wynn of Goldsboro. She was married to the late Ronnie G. Coker.

Connie worked as a bank teller with Branch Bank and Trust for more than 28 years.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Ryan Drew Coker and wife, Marjorie, of Four Oaks; her daughter, Amber Lynne Coker; her sisters, Mary Jo Pope and husband, Roy, of Four Oaks and Susan Wynn of Wilmington; her brother, Michael Wynn and wife, Sharon, of Avon; her K-9 friend, Buddy; and her extended Coker family.

Connie was proudly awaiting her first grandchild due in December, Rex Lanier Coker.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.

The family will receive friends tonight following the service at Goldsboro Worship Center and other times at her home, 1308 LaGrange Road in LaGrange.
