WASHINGTON D.C. -- Thurman King, 58, died Monday at Howard University Hospital.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Jones Tabernacle. A wake will be held at noon at the church in Kinston. Interment will be at Holly Hill Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Erlynne King of Snow Hill; one son; and one daughter.
Arrangements are by S. Connor Funeral Home of Snow Hill.
