Charles Edward Williford Sr., 67, 500 C. Sambo Lambert Road, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Sampson County, he was the son of the late Charlie Andrew and Martha Aline Williford.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy Thompson Williford; two daughters, Kay Arnett, and husband, David, of Mount Olive and Cindy McCullen and husband, Michael, of Grantham; a son, Charles Williford Jr. of Grantham; three sisters, Rebecca Martin of Grantham, Julia Jones of Goldsboro and Doris Beasley of Durham; and three grandchildren, Caleb McCullen, Allen Cansler and Brittney Hobbs.
Family members will receive friends immediately following the service Friday at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home.
