LINWOOD L. "BOOT" NORRIS

Linwood Lee "Boot" Norris, 51, 112 Mansion Lane, died Wednesday.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Tarboro, he was the son of the late Willie C. and Novella Williams Norris and husband of the late Vicki Shelton Norris.
A veteran of the United States Navy, he was retired from Progress Energy as an IT telecom supervisor.
Mr. Norris is survived by his mother, Elva K. Norris of Dudley; two daughters, Amy Norris and her fiancé, Paul D. VanDusen, of Roanoke, Va., and Amber Norris of the home; a brother, Willie A. "Bill" Norris of Goldsboro; Elva Garner and husband, Devon, of Seven Springs and Sharon Bentley and husband, Roger, of Birmingham, Ala.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and at other times will be at the home of his sister, Elva Garner, 692 Pineview Cemetery Road, Seven Springs.
