TURKEY -- Arthur James Wilson Sr., 78, 1140 Thompson Ave., died Thursday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Wilson Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Isaac Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Chapel Church Cemetery.
Born in Sampson County, he was the son of the late Jasper and Addie Chestnutt Wilson.
His wife, Mary L. Wilson of the home, and five children survive.
A viewing will be held Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home, and the family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m. to receive friends.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
