SMITHFIELD -- Frances Louise Creech Thompson, 78, died Monday in Johnston Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with elder James Bobby Daughtry and Elder Bobby Langston officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Creech Cemetery on Creech's Mill Road.
Born Aug. 15, 1930, in Johnston County to the late William Henry and Hester Thompson Creech, she was the widow of M. P. Thompson Jr., who died Feb. 9, 1991.
Surviving are three daughters.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
