Wilma Exum, 57, 107 Brock St., passed from labor to reward Saturday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Word Faith Church. She will be laid to rest in Piney Green Church Cemetery in the Scotts Store Community.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Jessie Mae and Charles Mills; sons, Walter Overton Jr. of New Jersey, Ivedt Overton of Washington, D.C., and Samuel Exum and Mondero Exum, both of the home; daughters, Ronda Overton of Baltimore, Md., Jessica Overton of Stantonsburg and Samella Wallace of the home; sisters, Carlene Fennell and Sylvia Williams, both of Goldsboro; brothers, Obbie Wallace of New Mexico, Kirby Wallace of Richmond, Va., Leslie Wallace of Washington, D.C., and S'Vite Wallace of Goldsboro; and nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
