DARTHA M. WESTBROOK

Dartha M. Westbrook, 90, 153 Paul Hare Road in the Grantham Community, died Friday at The Pines of Goldsboro.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Purvis officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

Born in Pitt County, she was the daughter of the late John Ollie and Annie Dora Williams Keel and was raised by her late stepmother, Viola G. Keel. She was the wife of the late Cleo Westbrook and was a member of the Eureka Christian Church.

Mrs. Westbrook is survived by a son, Ray Westbrook and wife, Naomi ,of Elon; four daughters, Dartha Carol Strickland and husband, Joe Dan, of Mount Olive, Gail Westbrook of Goldsboro, Janice Best and husband, R.A. Jr., of Goldsboro, Elaine Zullo and partner, Edward Shadeed, of Burgaw; 11 grandchildren, Donna Lane, Sonia Loftis, Jeffery Strickland, Alicia Wilkins, April Lockamy, Annjanette Sutton, Andy Best, Chanda Major, Kevin Zullo, Brian Zullo, Nicole Zullo; and 17 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday prior to the service and at other times at the home.
