Marzilla Holloway Hunter, 55, 706 Robinson Place, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held at noon Monday at Tabernacle of Prayer for All People, 2005 S. John St., with Apostle Lawrence Bozier officiating. She will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 5, 1954, to the late Herbert and Eva Holloway.

She leaves precious memories with her husband, Derrick Hunter; four brothers, Herbert (Agnes) Holloway of Kuwait, Marshall (Joyce) Holloway of Dudley, Benjamin (Brenda) Holloway and Alonza (Regina) Holloway of Goldsboro; eight sisters, Peggy Blount of Augusta, Ga., Mary Rhoe, Janice Scanes, Sarah Morgan and Doris (Frank) Broadie, all of Goldsboro, Pastor Nancey (Charles) Kornegay of Hinesville, Ga., and Brenda Holloway of Columbia, S.C., and Jackie Noel of Baltimore, Md.; a foster sister, Gloria Howell of Dudley; two uncles, P.H. Holloway of Goldsboro and Russell Miller of Wilson; one aunt, Mable Holloway of Goldsboro; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Mary Rhoe at 706 Robinson Place.
