Elizabeth Colleen Waters, 77, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Victory Free Will Baptist Church, 1806 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, with the Rev. Fred Crank, the Rev. George Lee and Dr. Richard Glosson officiating. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.

Colleen was born in Wayne County June 5, 1931, to the late Charlie Frank Faircloth and Nora Dudley Faircloth Smith.

She was employed for many years at Sears and also as a cottage parent with O'Berry Center. Colleen was a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church.

Colleen is survived by her husband, Marvin Eugene Waters Jr.; her sons, Marvin E. "Gene" Waters III and wife, Debby, of Richmond, Va., Charlie "Chuck" E. Waters of Dunedin, Fla., and Harvey "Kim" Waters of Richmond, Va.; her sisters, Kathleen Mitchell, Lorraine Jennette and Sharon Martin, all of Goldsboro; her brothers, Edmond Faircloth of Goldsboro and David "D.J." Faircloth of McDonough, Ga.; and her grandson, Eric C. Waters of Richmond, Va.

While flowers are welcome, donations to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534, would be greatly appreciated.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Seymour Funeral Home, 1300 Wayne Memorial Drive. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jennette, 304 Forest Drive, Goldsboro.
