BERTHA ROBBINS

Bertha Creech Robbins, 71, Goldsboro, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro.
There will be no funeral service or formal visitation.
Bertha was the daughter of Willie and Beulah Creech of Bolton.
She was a Goldsboro resident for the past 34 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Dwan Robbins, Debra Robbins, Susan Searles and husband, David, all of Goldsboro; her grandsons, Robin Robbins of Puyallup, Wash., and Luke and Wyatt Searles of Goldsboro; her granddaughters, Susan Holland and Emma Searles of Goldsboro, and Alyssa Robbins of Sachse, Texas; a great-grandson, Hayden Smith of Goldsboro; her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Robbins of Sachse; her brother Garland Creech of Florence, S.C.; brothers-in-law Chester Robbins, Jerry Robbins and wife, Myra, of Wilmington, Carl Robbins and wife, Dot, of Whiteville and Edward Brown of Bolton; sisters-in-law, Ruth Robbins of Wilmington, Bootsie Robbins of Bolton and Linda Shaw of Evergreen; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Charles and Joanna Stevens of Rocky Mount and Mary Bitting of Goldsboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Murray; her son, Andy Robbins; brothers, Bernice, Kite and Dick Creech; and sister, Eva Mae Brown.
The family will receive friends and family Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 112 E. Westwood Drive, Goldsboro.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro.
