MOUNT OLIVE -- Mary "Bobbie" Boyce, 79, of Mount Olive, died Saturday.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 at Brownings United Methodist Church with the Rev. Leland Heath officiating. Interment will follow in Elmore Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruby Forrest of Goldsboro and Frances Pate of Newton Grove; a son, Walter "Porky" Pate of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Tim Forrest, Shane Pate, Sallie Warren and Jack Pate; great-grandchildren, Taylor Forrest, Dylan Pate and Madie Warren; a sister, Anne Gurley of Pikeville; and two brothers, Jerry Elmore of Greensboro and Albert Elmore of Douglasville, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.W. "Pete" and Minnie Mae Elmore; and a daughter, Scottie Strickland Grantham.
The family received friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
