RUTH C. CHANCY

KINSTON -- Ruth Casey Chancy, 83, of Kinston, died Sunday.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Vito Bisogno officiating. Interment will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Chancy was born Oct. 20, 1925, in Wayne County to the late Harvey H. Casey Sr. and Lydia Sutton Casey. She was retired from Martin Marietta.
Mrs. Chancy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wilbur V. Chancy; two brothers, Alex Ralph Casey Sr. of Goldsboro and John Paul Casey of Kinston; along with a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service and at other times they will be at the home of John Paul Casey, 2702 Banks School Road, Kinston.
Memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
Arrangements are being handled by Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
