BOYS' BASKETBALL: Grantham 53, Mt. Olive 28 -- Tayvon Callahan paced Grantham with 21 points. Terquavis Butler scored 10, followed by Tedarius Butler with seven, and D'untae Wright and Drew Cox with five apiece. Jabari Pearsall led Mt. Olive with nine. Grantham (6-5, 4-2) plays at Greenwood today.
BOYS' BASKETBALL:Norwayne 59, Spring Creek 21 -- Omarreyon Johnson led the Cobras with 16 points and seven rebounds. Ashton Perozini added 11 points and four rebounds while Trever Reid tallied seven points, four rebounds and six assists. The Cobras (9-1) host Brodgen on Thursday.
GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Grantham 32, Mt. Olive 14 -- Grantham was led by Alissa Meadows, who scored 13 points. Morgan Kennedy added eight, while Dmia Wright recorded four. Jamaya Bass paced Mt. Olive with six ponts. Grantham (9-2, 5-1) plays at Greenwood today.
GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Norwayne 46, Spring Creek 39 -- Katie Parrish pumped in 20 points for the Cobras. Kaitlyn Smith added 11 and Abbey Thomas chipped in nine. The Gators were led by Virginia Edmondson, who scored a game-high 24. Jada Kent supplied 12 for Spring Creek. The Cobras (9-1, 5-0) host Brogden on Thursday.
