GIRLS' BASKETBALL: D.H. Conley escapes So. Wayne in OT

DUDLEY -- Samiya Bess registered 22 points during Southern Wayne's 66-65 overtime loss to D.H. Conley in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play Tuesday.
Machiah Moore had 11 points, while Kiara Wallace scored 10 points. Ebony Fuller and Iyahna Bess each chipped in eight points. Caroline Summerlin collected five points.
The Saints (8-14 overall, 2-9 ECC) entertain South Central on Friday.
