DeKiya Thomas reeled off 40 assists in Wayne Country Day's 25-23, 25-23, 22-25, 13-25, 13-15 loss to Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference foe Pope John Paul on Thursday.
Thomas served four aces for the Chargers, who endured their third CPIC loss of the season. Jala Holloman and Hannah Neal registered 12 and 10 kills, respectively.
