VOLLEYBALL: Short-handed Faith Christian falls in NCCSA 2A play

Faith Christian missed two key starters during its 13-25, 9-25, 11-25 setback against N.C. Christian Schools Association 2-A region foe Greenville Central on Thursday evening.
Savannah Potts suffered an injury in the warm-up period. Another teammate missed the match, which left the Conquerors with just six players.
Head coach Jamie Conlon praised her team for handling the adversity. Aliyah Pittman, Chloe Mills, Taylor Skinner, Emma Meador and freshman Colleena Lecroy each contributed in the match.
The Conquerors (2-5 overall, 0-2 region) entertain Bethel Christian on Monday.
