North Johnston handed Goldsboro a 4-2, non-conference loss on the Cougar Stadium pitch.
Ruben Quiroz and Colin Williams each scored a goal for the Cougars. Michael Eovine dished out an assist.
Goldsboro goalie Chandler Patrick recorded 10 saves between the pipes.
