VOLLEYBALL: Princeton sweeps county rival

Senior middle hitter Daisey Eklund contributed 10 kills, three aces and six blocks as Princeton cruised past county rival South Johnston 26-16, 25-18, 25-15 in non-conference action.
Kortney Edwards logged two kills and one ace. Lily Eklund, Erika Hines, Leah Narron and Maryssa Proctor each supplied one kill.
Beth Braswell dished out 25 assists.
The Bulldogs (3-1 overall) launch defense of their Carolina 1-A Conference regular-season title at home Tuesday against James Kenan.
