Goldsboro 40, Eastern Wayne 14 -- Tilwan James rushed for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Darius Cash provided 141 yards and two TDs during the Cougars' road rout of their cross-town rival Thursday evening. Quarterback Brody Morton completed 6 of 7 passes for 125 yards, including scoring strikes to Jykeis McClain (30 yards) and Reid Barnette (3 yards). Defensive leaders for the Cougars were Cash (eight stops, one fumble recovery), James (six tackles), Jabari Wilson (five tackles, FR), Jakari Dudley (four tackles, 2 FR) and Ty Harris (FR).
