Chargers dump Knights in CPIC tennis

Wayne Country Day celebrated senior day with a 7-2 triumph over Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference foe Greenfield at Wayne Community College on Wednesday afternoon.
Preston Edwards, Hunter Hawkins, Charlie Dees, Lance Davis and Nolan Davis each emerged victorious in singles play for the Chargers.
The tandems of Edwards-Hawkins and L. Davis-N. Davis prevailed in doubles.
Wayne Country Day (6-7 overall) entertains Grace Christian of Sanford on Friday.
