Ruben Quiroz scored a goal and an assist to lead Goldsboro to a 2-1 win over Eastern Carolina 2-A foe Kinston on Monday evening.
Jacob Seate scored the Cougars' second goal.
David McAlduff made 15 saves in net including one on a penalty kick.
Goldsboro (5-9-0 overall, 3-3-0 ECC) entertains Ayden-Grifton on Wednesday.
