* Boys basketball: Goldsboro 47, C.B. Aycock 42 -- Kisheen Faison led the Goldsboro offense with 14 points. Daryte Gabbis added eight points in the win. Goldsboro plays host to Eastern Wayne on Friday.
* Girls' basketball: C.B. Aycock 32, Goldsboro 23 -- Lexie Edmundson led the Golden Falcons with 14 points. Allison Shingleton added eight points. Kharmin Brown scored 15 points for the Cougars.
* Girls' basketball: South Johnston 45, Princeton 31 -- Jazmaine McClain scored 13 points for Princeton. Megan Stone had nine points. Carson Denning led South Johnston with 26 points.
