Spring Creek boys upend Panthers in OT

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek overcame a 14-point second half deficit and earned a 60-57 win over North Johnston on Wednesday night.
Jordan Hicks sank the game-tying layup with 12 seconds to play and sent the game to overtime. The Gators outscored the Panthers 9-6 in the extra period.
Brandon Gonzalez led Spring Creek with 20 points and seven rebounds. Tre Hammonds added eight points and seven boards. Hicks finished with 14 points and Chad Spurgeon added 10.
Spring Creek (3-3 overall) is the guest of Jones Senior on Friday night.
