Zaneta T'niya Gonel, 22, 1317 Jefferson Ave., died Friday at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
She was born April 30, 1996, in Wayne County to Serge and Marie K. Toussiant Gonel.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Church Ministries, with Apostle Stephanie Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home.
She will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
