MISS ORA JEAN CRAWFORD

Miss Ora Jean Crawford was born in Goldsboro, N.C. She departed this life March 19, 2018, at the UNC Health Care Center in Goldsboro, N.C.
Ora was born April 21, 1949, to the late Mr. Robert Davis and the late Ms. Lillian Crawford.
She was educated in Goldsboro city schools and graduated from Dillard High School in the class of 1967.
Ora was a member of Saints Delight United Holy Church in Parkstown, N.C. The pastor is Bishop-elect Devin C. Pickett.
She retired from O'Berry Center as a health care technician.
She loved the Lord, and spent her life willingly helping others at Huntington Manor Senior Living Facility.
Her memories will be cherished by her son, Mr. Bryan D. Crawford of Goldsboro, N.C., and two grandchildren, Bryanna and Bryson Crawford.
She is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Gwendolyn C. Mason (Gregory) of Greenville, N.C., Ms. Theresa Davis of Salisbury, N.C., Ms. Teresa Davis of Raleigh, N.C., and Ms. Lena Davis of Kinston, N.C.
Also four brothers, Mr. Frankie Davis of Raleigh, N.C., Tharoy Davis and Jay Davis of Goldsboro, N.C., and Joe Foster Davis of Mocksville, N.C., and also a loving sister-in-law, Mrs. Bernice Crawford of Goldsboro, N.C.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 1 p.m. in Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church, 1114 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, N.C. Bishop-elect Devin C. Pickett Sr. will officiate.
Saturday, March 24, 2018, the family members and friends will assemble at the residence of Mr. Henry King of 708 E. Elm St., Goldsboro, N.C., at 10:45 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
Flowers may be sent to Britt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 414 E. Washington St., LaGrange, N.C., beginning Friday, March 23, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Interment will follow in Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
Also, a public viewing will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018, from noon to 12:50 p.m. in Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church, 1114 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, N.C.
