ENNIS WADE PITTMAN

July 6, 1927-March 23, 2018

Ennis Wade Pittman, 90, Kenly, passed away Friday afternoon at the Brian Center in Wilson.

Ennis was born in Wilson County July 6, 1927, to the late Herbert and Elsie Overman Pittman.

He was always a special child since birth, and held a special place in everyone's heart.

Ennis had a great passion for roller skating, and will be remembered for teaching many people of the Kenly area how to roller skate when the Kenly Skating Rink opened.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 26, 2018, from 11 a.m. to noon at Kenly Funeral Service, followed by a service at noon in the chapel, with the Rev. Calvin Craft officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pittman Family Cemetery.

Ennis is survived by his brother, Bobby Pittman of Kenly; sister, Ann Lou Johnson of Kinston; sisters-in-law, Edith Pittman and Faye Pittman; brother-in-law, G.C. Williamson; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Pittman and Donald Pittman, and sisters, Earldean Pope and Jean Williamson.
