FIRST LADY SHIRLEY BUTLER FRASIER

First Lady Shirley Butler Frasier, 61, 121 Gainey Drive, peacefully succumbed to her master's call Friday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born Monday, Aug. 27, 1956, in Wayne County to Johnnie and Julia Blount Butler.
Her life and service to God and mankind will be celebrated Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at noon at First African Missionary Baptist Church. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest with military honors in East Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
She is survived by her beloved husband, the Rev. Jerome Frasier; her children, David, Richie, Leroy and Laquint; and a host of other relatives and friends
The visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. James AME Zion Church of Snow Hill, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral service.
