Frederick Oscar Edmundson, 66, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, in Florida.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Edmundson was born in Wayne County Dec. 29, 1950, to the late William Henry and Rachel Edmundson.
He is survived by a stepdaughter, Rebecca Byrum King; two brothers, Kenneth Edmundson of Belfast and Gene Edmundson and wife, Jenell, of Warsaw; a sister, Doris Gurganus of Lucama; sister-in-law, Pat Edmundson; brother-in-law, Earl Mumford; stepgrandson, Asher Hamilton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Edmundson was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Byrum Edmundson; two brothers, William Edmundson Jr. and Edward Lee Edmundson; and two sisters, Elizabeth Edmundson Baker and Marie Edmundson Mumford.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
