Johnnie Carlos Millard Jr., 77, 509 Soloman St., Faison, died at his residence Monday night after a long battle with pancreatic disease.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Faison Bible Holiness Church, 507 Soloman St. of which he was the pastor and a longtime member. Committal will follow in Faison Cemetery. Vicky Fuggiano will officiate.
Family will receive friends and family in the fellowship hall Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Louise Taylor Millard; daughters, Cynthia Israel of Rockford, Tenn., Angela Paschal (Richard) of New Bern and Lisa Guerrero of Maryville, Tenn.; a brother, Joseph Millard (Linda) of Faison; sisters, Johnnie Foss (Jordan) of New Bern and Julia Thigpen (Lylton) of Delway; many nieces and nephews; his precious doggie, Baxter; and the sweet memory of his beloved doggie, Buster.
He was a native of Wayne County, and was preceded in death by his parents, Julia Isabelle Gardner Millard and Johnnie Carlos Millard Sr.
Arrangements are with Evergreen Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
