SHEALVY JEAN BARWICK

Shealvy Jean Taylor Barwick, 78, Seven Springs, passed away early Tuesday morning at her home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lori Ann Quinn and her husband, Haywood, of Seven Springs and Phyllis Ann Ryan and her husband, Andrew, of Goldsboro; her four sons, Ronnie Barwick of Seven Springs, Randy Barwick of Seven Springs, Ricky Barwick and his wife, Wanda, of LaGrange and Dennis Barwick and his wife, Ramie, of Bentonville; a sister, Hellen Laws of Rougemont, N.C.; two brothers, Carl Taylor of Warsaw and Lynwood Taylor and his wife, Barbara, of Rocky Mount; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Shealvy is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as a large extended family whom she dearly loved.

Shealvy was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Vernon and Lula Estelle Taylor Taylor; her husband, Ronald Ben Barwick; and a sister, Grace Barefoot.

Shealvy had a deep love for her family and traveling whenever the opportunity arose.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Mrs. Jeanie Whitehead will officiate, with burial immediately following at Pineview Cemetery of Seven Springs.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. and at other times, at the home of Mrs. Shealvy.
