Mary Jo Sloane Harris, 69, 102 Brookwood Drive, died Aug. 2 at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at New Spirit Church Ministries.
She was born Jan. 6, 1948, in Bronx, N.Y., to May Elizabeth Miller and Lawrence Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Eugene Harris, and children.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
