Emerson Bass Sr., 86, Eureka, died Thursday, June 8, 2017.
Funeral Saturday 11 a.m. Eureka United Methodist Church, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment Eureka Cemetery.
He is survived by daughters, Pam Bass of Eureka and Brenda Proctor of Black Creek; sons, Emerson Bass Jr. of Wilson and Ricky Bass and Mickey Bass of Pikeville; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Edmundson Bass in 2007.
