Connie Lavone Gurley Johnson, 69, Lucama, died Thursday at Northeast Medical Center in Concord.
Funeral will be Monday at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service, with the Rev. Kelley Smart and the Rev. D. Wayne Eakes officiating. Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Evans Family Cemetery.
She was born in Johnston County on Jan. 30, 1948, to the late Daniel Boone and Gladys Murray Gurley.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Johnson; and two sons.
The family will receive friends immediately following the Monday service and, at other times, at her home.
